Slammer Reading Program 2019

Congratulations to Team Walsh for reading 3,015 books!  Even our  youngest students (preschool) participated by reading and turning in their 'baseballs' which pushed the total over 3,000.  Way to go!  Students met all their goals and were able to participate in an all school kickball assembly...The Pink Para Rangers (our wonderful paraprofessionals) vs. Spikes' Super Students.  The students won by one run!  But, in the end there were high fives for everyone as we all worked together to meet our reading goals.  Pictures will be posted shortly under the Walsh tab, just scroll down to the Special Events option.  Keep an eye out for your free ticket order form coming home in backpacks.  Congratulations to all!

May 2019 Highlights

May is here!  Our newsletter is also here...which is filled with important information, volunteer requests for Field Day, recognition and thanks to our staff members that are retiring this year, and of course special event information.  Take a peek and see what our students have been up to and what they will be doing this month.  Our students are reading like crazy and are very close to surpassing the reading goal set in our Super Student Slammer Reading Program!  We thank you for supporting this challenge and we know our students will have fun celebrating their success at our Staff vs. Student kick ball assembly.  If you have any quesions - or need assistance in completing registration for next year - please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

March 2019 Highlights

The March newsletter has been posted and is filled with important information! Please take a look at all the details, especially registration information and yearbook deadines.  We do have some fun events coming up in March, including our Movie Night on March 5th.  Take a look at our calendar for other events, too!  Registration packets will be going home in student backpacks on March 15th.  A quick return on the paperwork is appreciated.  The registration fee for this year is $130, but you can deduct $10 if you pay by May 15th.

Kindergarten registration is on March 12th and 13th (details in the article below).  Packets will be available in the office or online March 5th, if you would like to fill out the forms ahead of time.   If you have any questions regarding registration, please call the school office.
