January 2019 News

Happy new year!  The Walsh January Newsletter has been posted, check it out to see what's been happening in your child's class.  Among other things, your child's music, P.E. and art schedule may have been changed.  Be sure to visit your teacher's website for change of days for these special classes.  School will resume on Monday, January 7th, following a much needed winter break, but keep in mind that as the winter weather starts to really kick in, students should arrive properly dressed for outdoor recess.  May all our families enjoy a peaceful, healthy and prosperous 2019.

December 2018 News

The December newsletter is posted and available under your Walsh tab above.  Take a look and stay connected with what's going on in your student's class.  There are some fun things coming up, including some field trips, holiday parties, and an early dismissal to start off our winter break!

It was wonderful to see so many families attend the parent/teacher conferences.  If you need a follow-up meeting, please contact your teacher.  We are blessed to have so many parents involved in their child's progress and to have parents willing to step up and volunteer in the classroom or at the school.  May you enjoy a wonderful, safe and relaxing holiday break.

November 2018 Highlights

November is going to be a fast moving month!  Hang on tight...our 1st graders will perform in their musical concert on Wednesday, November 14th.  Check out the music article in the November newsletter to find out what time your class will be performing.   There will also be parent/teacher conferences on Monday and Tuesday (Nov. 19th and 20th).  Check out the calendar to see more important information.

If you have not signed up for your conference, please do so promptly.  If you have any problems, please call the school office.

A special thank you to all our staff, parents, students and friends who made October fun and exciting by attending our Monster Mash and Halloween parade.  This month we also thank and recognize all our volunteers who step forward to help not only our students, but our teachers by planning, copying and volunteering in so many helpful ways!  We are truly blessed at Walsh to have so many great families.   Thank you.  Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
