Nutrition Tips

*Always eat breakfast. This will jumpstart your metabolism and give you the energy needed for a successful day.

*Slow down!! Don’t gulp down your food. Eat slowly, chew well and enjoy your food. Eating slowly allows your brain time to tell your stomach that it is is full.

*Avoid a diet of fast food.

*Minimize added sugar. Avoid high calorie sodas and energy drinks. The energy they give you will only sustain you for a short time.

*Be sure to get enough calcium in your diet by including cheese, milk, & yogurt and green leafy vegetables. Calcium is important for healthy bones and teeth.

*Stay well hydrated. Drink plenty of water.
