Mary Jo has a personal interest in doing whatever she can to help to improve the quality of education that the District provides for the children in the community.  She has been employed in the medical field for over 20 years.  Currently she is the office manager for a group practice of family physicians in Orland Park.     VICE PRESIDENT ‚ James Gorecki, has served on the District 92 School Board since 2005.  Jim is employed by PCT International.  Jim and his wife have lived in Lockport for twenty-one years.  His three daughters are third generation District 92 students with the oldest now attending Marquette University.  Jim’s job requires a lot of travel which he enjoys and shares all he sees with his family.  Traveling gives Jim opportunities to visit with people in many states and discuss education in different regions.  It also gives him a chance to bring ideas back to the Board.  His goal is to provide the most enriching education to District students while keeping an eye on the budget.  It is always encouraging to hear from parents that they have moved to this area for school.  Jim is confident the District will continue to excel.   SECRETARY, Rebecca Little has served on the District 92 School Board since 1997. Becky has served as Secretary, Vice President, and President.  Becky and her husband have lived in Lockport for over thirty-two years.  They have two daughters who have attended District 92 schools and two grandsons, one currently attending District 92.  Becky and her husband own and operate Abbot Appliance and Porcelain Refinishers, Inc.  She has served on the District 92 PFA Board, District 92 Athletic Board, District 92 Band Board, and the District 92 Foundation for Educational Excellence.   MEMBER‚ Michael Messina has served on the District 92 School Board since 2007. Mike is the owner of a marketing agency, MADMAXMAR Group.  He and his wife have lived in Lockport for four years and have three children, two of which are enrolled in District 92 schools.  Mike is also a member of the Lockport Rotary Club and the LTHS Foundation.  He enjoys driving his children to sporting events and activities.   MEMBER, Steve Traina has served on the District 92 School Board since 2005. Steve and his wife have lived in Homer Glen for fifteen years and have two children. He is a regional manager for Voortman and a high school football and softball official. Steve has been actively involved in his community for many years.   MEMBER, Elizabeth Bilotta has served on the District 92 School Board since 2007. Elizabeth is the Director of Environmental Health for the Will County Health Department.  Elizabeth and her husband have lived in Lockport for ten years and have two children currently attending District 92 schools.  Elizabeth is very active at St. Joseph’s Church in Lockport.   MEMBER, Tim Houlihan has served on the District 92 School Board since May, 2009. Tim has been a Cook County sheriff for the past seventeen years.  He and his wife have resided in Lockport for the past eleven years and have two sons, one who recently graduated and another currently enrolled in District 92.  His goal is to provide the students of District 92 with the best possible education available.  Tim is also President of the District 92 Athletic Association and manages a traveling baseball team for Lockport Boys Baseball.
